I sometimes need to print a document. I dropped ink jet years ago, because they were always drying out. Laser/scanner at home is much too big to carry in a trailer.

If you want a tiny printer, you could also look at a thermal printer. For example, the
Brother PocketJet series. They are more expensive than a cheap laser printer, but much smaller and typically run off battery so don't need to be plugged in. The paper is pretty expensive too, like 15 cents a page, but if you print rarely it may be viable.
A coworker travels a lot (or at least used to), so he carried one in his suitcase so he could always print while on the road.
