I have a netbook that I've kept on XP for ham radio and other SW that still runs fine on XP and isn't available for anything higher. I know of car audio/alarm shops that have the same - some of the manufacturers haven't updated their SW to work with Windows 7, let alone anything else. There are valid reasons for keeping an XP system or two around.
I even ran into an enterprise network a few weeks ago that is running XP on some of their main systems. In their case, they have been too cheap to upgrade to systems that run under Windows 7.
