That appears to work better. But it still doesn't address the other issues, such as clicking and dragging. A nyhow, this wasn't a problem before so something is haywire. There is a "refresh" mode on this computer. I've never used it, but wonder if that would help.

PS: I'm using another, older mouse right now and the dragging seems to be working again. But the original problem remains: difficulty opening programs the normal way using 2 clicks.
