Problem printing

I have an HP laptop and an HP all in one printer. When I print emails, some of the right side of the copy is missing. I use Chrome and gmail.
Any suggestions?

  • When you have the print dialog up (after you press Print from within Chrome), select the option "Print using System Dialog." This will open up your regular printer settings. Find and select the setting (could be listed as "Scaling" setting) to "Fit to paper size", or something similarly worded. This will scale the printout to fit your default paper size.

As much as I like Chrome, it has a very weak print interface.
  • Before you print, click on the Preview button. If there is a formatting error you should be able to correct it here.

No, there is not a better forum, this is the Tech Topics forum.

However... I used to use HP printers. now use Canon.. You may need to re-size your browser (Use the double retangle at the top right of the screen to make it smaller) and see if that helps. if it does not.. I truly forget what I had to do.

You can also print the document to a PDF file (I use CutePDF-Printer with Ghost Script to do that) and then print the PDF from Acroread, which will resize the document for you.
