Problem with Quicken 2014

can you do an online update?

Does the Print dialog box come up?

If so is your printer selected in the top Printer box?



I just tried my first print with 2014 to make sure it works, and it does...

I am having lots of other problems with this new software though! Their testing & QA looks to be pretty lacking. :R

Are you running windows 8? Do you have two different printers shown or is it the same printer but a copy 1 of the first? Is the second printer set as default printer?

Have two printers first is one used for all work. Second is PDF printer. Per printer dialogue box jobs are not getting to printer.

bob, is your printer connected directly to the PC or is it connected to your home network? if networked is it cabled or wireless? try connecting the printer directly to the PC and see what happens? can you otherwise print to the printer??

Can you print to PDF and print the pdf? That way you can determine if it is the spooling or the printer driver, etc with Quicken.

Suggest the OP go here and seek assistance. For the record, as a many many year user of Quicken and a beta tester of Quicken for many years, I would not even consider using Quicken 2014. Perhaps in a few months after a few program updates but not at this time. Quicken 2014 presently is very problematic.

We had to switch to Quicken 2014 because Quicken 2011 was corrupting our investment data and the budget package wouldn't work.

After a couple of odd things the first day, QW2014 has been fine for the last couple of weeks.

At least if you're using the American version, you can expect several updates. We Canadians might get one. There were NO updates for bug riddled QW2011.

We have also found good help in the past from Quicken via-email. We are using Quicken 2012 with no problems.
