what does burning through a gig an hour or poor cell coverage have to do with dishnet sat Tv?
DISH Hoppers can "sling" TV programming via a broadband connection using DISH Anywhere technology
So if both your Hopper and a receiving device (like an iPad) were connected to a fast Internet connection, you can use an iPad app to view all the programs (live and recorded) from your Hopper on your iPad. I've done it several times, but typically when both Hopper and iPad were on the same WiFi network -- then you don't burn up broadband data.
Unless you're at a very atypical RV park, the campground WiFi would be unable to stream content from a Hopper.
If you're using a cell data plan, you would burn through a whole lotta data. And poor cell coverage wouldn't work at all.
Sling boxes like the M1 can work with a variety of devices, not just a Hopper.
