There is only one correct setting for the SWM3 and as you have noted, the receiver will set it automatically.
The signal meter should be showing SWM plus 101, 99 and 103. You will see 99(s) and 99(c) plus 103 (ca and cb) plus 103(s). The (s) are spot beamed channels.
You should have only one cable connected to the receiver, you should not have any B-Band converters installed and you should have a PI21 (21V) power inserter installed.
Bill i can only see the swm and 101, also i have the b-band in because that is the way the it is on my house with swm5. to note though, I tried without the b-band, and all wokrd the same as with.
