question about sound bar ( factory ) turning on

My JBL subwoofer speaker set that came installed by the TV always comes on with the TV , I can turn it off with the remote but it comes back on the next time I turn on the TV, why won't it stay off? ...

As FlatBroke said your remote is programmed to turn the sub on when you turn on the TV. You might need to download a manual for your remote to figure out how to turn that off.
