I am thinking of purchasing a Radar Detector. What Brands are the best?

Why do you need a device to help you break the law? I never have understood the concept. If the speed limit is 70 and you are doing 90 until your "radar detector" indicates trouble ahead, aren't you still breaking the law only with the hope you won't get caught? Yes, we all do this from time to time but do I want to chance the future cost of insurance on one of these devices? Maybe you do, but I don't.
