No need to apologize to anyone but glad to see you have it working properly. Just be sure that you have the second amp in the coax that runs out of power supply to the TV and not the coax that is connected to the Antenna port of the power supply.
When it comes to digital TV (actually to receiving the UHF frequencies where digital is predominately broadcast) height is might along with a clear(er) view so it's not at all surprising that the antenna in the attic gets some additional channels.
