When you install the SensarPro, keep in mind that the default '10' gain setting is actually '0dB' (unity) gain, rising to '10dB' as the numbers go up, and attenuating as they go down.
I'm kinda curious if the IV is improved, somewhere online I read that they designed the new head as a match to the wingman-not sure if it matters much but like I said I want all I can get and don't want to lose what I have-I haven't read anywhere that anyone takes off the wingman after installing it but I've worried some that I don't want to make my antenna any more directional than it already is.
I've searched a lot online and haven't found a listed gain for the Sensar alone. I have convinced myself that I want the SensarPro and a new head unless I have my mind changed here.
Think my Dad's gonna get a wingman in his stocking for Christmas so I can tinker! ;)
