The good news down here is at least now they have additional spectrum to build infrastructure in but it's currently clogged up by existing TV stations and one in proximity of the other ain't good depending on the channel the phone has chosen. I'm in possession of a modified T-Mobile phone built for engineering analysis of this problem and what it might take to get them to live together. Both LA and SFO have these additional channels and I've been able to get them both to work with minor antenna tweaks :) I just wish their coverage map really was a good as they advertise in the burbs.
