Really loud vibration

The backup camera monitor in the Mother Ship has a loud annoying vibration. Before I do an exploratory surgery, has anyone encountered such a thing? My first guess is that some large component (maybe a transformer?) is loose.
  • So you just arrived from Alpha Centauri ?
Scotty says most warp engines hum during plasma cool down.
  • A physical vibration noise
    Or speaker hum vibration
LCD display or crt display (different voltage/power requirements)

I had a problem with mine.. Turns out the volume was turned up... There is no MIC on that camera so it was picking up stray noise. (electronic type, not physical type) and turning it into noise (Physical type) as it is designed to do.

That was actually a nudge to include your RV in the sig, or at least explain exactly what a Mother Ship is to keep folks from having to dig into the profile to figure it out.

Anyway, I'd go with YXM. Mine does have a mic but it lost a ground and turned into all noise and hum. Short of that its dash dive time
  • Well I did find that the volume was turned up. It only showed up while driving, so I need to take it out next week and then I will find out.
  • Confirmed. There was no problem with it on our Yosemite trip.

    Thanx, wa8yxm !!
