Very timely post. I am starting my hunt for a good system to keep an eye on the boat when we have the truck camper on. So it wouldn't be a back up camera as much as a rear view monitor. The first question I had was if the wireless ones are as good as the hardwired. It wouldn't have to have tremendous range I guess since it will just be about 15 feet from the monitor. So you answered that part for me.
Also, do you think it would be possible to just adjust the angle of the camera to use it as an aid to hitching up the boat then put it back up to see the rest of the boat? Or best to get a second camera to view the hitch?
