  • assuming web surfing and email, being the main use
this could be a great option, i do these forums and my email from my android tablet every morning

there are file sharing apps for PC to android file sharing

NOT sure about remote desk top control of android device from PC
  • We run an outreach center, this could be a huge hit for us and at that price point makes it very easy & cheap to deploy.

If they have something like Remote Desktop I could see this in our business locations too.

For the price I hit the reserve button out of curiosity.
  • No..cloud required
You are confusing Chrome with Android
    Both were developed by Google
    But Chrome requires the Cloud
Android apps are loaded to the android device , phone, tablet, what ever
And do not need the cloud to run, a word processing or office app, works local, not in the cloud,
I have photo processing apps that run on my phone, no net cloud needed
  • Before we get ahead of ourselves here this is the ANDROID OS. Not Windows, so it runs mainly apps in the cloud. What does that mean? Little local file storage, no local MS office (although there are cloud alternatives), many more caveats, etc...

As such they are nice if all you're doing is email, and web surfing, but there are many more capable CHROME OS choices I would consider also.
  • Not on market yet and sometimes these things never make it to market
