Removing th ASK Toolbar?
Apparently, when I downloaded something, ASK TOOLBAR hitchhiked in on the download. In the Control Panel, when I click on it to uninstall, the UNISTALL BUTTON disappears. I hope I don't have to down...

Here is how I got rid of ASK.
This is one of the things that the Ask toolbar and many other malware programs do is take over your browser by changing your initial web page. It is important to understand how to do this but you only corrected one of the side effects of installing the Ask toolbar. It did not have any effect on the Ask toolbar if it is installed on your PC.
