Right angle HDMI and RCA cable adapters??

A couple of my TVs have damaged cables because the mounts push them very hard against the wall behind.

Has anybody used those right-angle adapters?

Do they work well?

How well do they hold HDMI cables while the RV is bouncing down the road?

  • I have a 90 degree HDMI one for the exact same reasons. Works flawlessly.

Also, those of you that mentioned MonoPrice.com. Good call. they make great quality cables for way less cost. Buy our network cables at work from them.
  • I bought the cable with one end straight and the other with a 90 degree HDMI connector. Available in different lengths depending upon what you need.
  • monoprice here, used in the stick home, but i used both hdmi and coax right angles, worked perfect

they hold fine, i wouldn't see a issue in an rv
  • In Oct 2013, I got 2, one 90 and other 270, used with Chromecast. No issues to date.

Purchased from monoprice.com, along with other adapters, 15-ft hdmi cable and 50-ft ethernet cable. All cheap and work perfectly.

On one TV, I attached the cable coming from adapter to TV mounting hole to better secure it.
  • I have used the 90 degree adapters for three years with no problems. I bought mine locally at Home Depot....Dennis
  • I use them and got them on Amazon. No problems.
You have to look at them closely.
There is a 90 and 270 degree adapters.
    Mine needed the 270 degree.
  • I use the rt. angle adapter on my satellite box that I switch from the house to the TT. So far no problems. It stays connected and helps with the tight squeeze in the cupboard next to the TT television. You can get them at Amazon or here:

    Monoprice has them as well.....
  • Bought some coax adapters off amazon a while back. Two broke after that I quit using them
