If you were going to replace your roof top antenna. What antenna would you replace it with and would you use an amp also? I have a winegard mount up there now

Omnis are fine.... if you're in urban areas.
Elininates the need to point to the station, which can be a pain...... so if that's your gripe. Go for an omin-directional.
The thing is, they won't pull stations in from as far away....... hence the earlier helpful responses
