If you were going to replace your roof top antenna. What antenna would you replace it with and would you use an amp also? I have a winegard mount up there now

Glad to see that it is working out great. The large number of stations may have come from having a good cloud cover when the scan was run, or doing it after sun was below horizon.
If some of the farther away signals should get too weak to watch during a sunny day, don't panic. As long as your television still has those links stored, the channels will most likely supply a good signal after dark, or when a good cloud cover returns.
Rescanning on a sunny day may not get the links from the farthest away channels.
