RV GPS..New Garmin delayed. Any recommendations?

We are planning a 6 wk + trip next month. I have been waiting for the new Garmin 770 RV gps, but the release has been delayed. I hate to wait until the last minute to buy something in case it become...

TheGPSstore.com now says "Backorder,
Expected 4/10/2017 "...
I wonder what the delay is; maybe they've found a few glitches in the new 770 or they're stuck on a container ship ( hi hi ).
