RV GPS..New Garmin delayed. Any recommendations?

We are planning a 6 wk + trip next month. I have been waiting for the new Garmin 770 RV gps, but the release has been delayed. I hate to wait until the last minute to buy something in case it become...

I don't think Garmin actually has anything to do with the actual maps, I'm pretty sure the maps will be the same. IMO it has more to do with how the device works with the maps.

I use a Garmin Nuvi 2539 and added my personal alerts and avoidances. My experience with the Garmin 465 made me dislike the GPS units designed to be used in RV's/trucks. It made sticking to a designated route an unpleasant experience.
