We just deployed option "C" by purchasing the RogueWave https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HRRYzUMZT3I and mounting it on a very tall Painter's pole. Works great! You can connect it to a very basic router on the inside. We resurrected a Cradlepoint 1000 for this.
