I do just that - take a receiver from the house and use it in the trailer.
I got VERY tired of trying to properly aim the regular satellite dish, so I bought a Winegard Carryout. I LOVE IT.
At home, in the driveway, I can get local channels and when far away from home, I get all but the local channels - no fuss set up at all. I don't know if you will be able to get your locals at your camp site...you'll just have to try it and see.
I believe the extra receiver is $6/month (at least that's what I pay per receiver).
