Even typing it in CAPS, does not make it correct. You will not lose your Network programming when you leave your neighborhood much less your zip code.
Generally, an area is serviced by a spot beam that is at least a couple of hundred miles and sometimes more than 500 miles. It just depends upon the size of the market served and the particular direction you travel.

We use a "home receiver" at our seasonal site. Bought a sat dish from a local retailer where our site is. We get all our home local channels just fine. Our seasonal site is 200 miles from our home.
The campground is 50 miles from her house and the area is covered by the same local news. I think I will probably pick up local networks
