Sale catalogues

Question

Why is it that I get catalogues in the mail and hike over to my Camping World Super Store.  The items I seem to want are never in the store and the store says they are on order.  Merchandising 101 says when you sell one you order one but apparently that is not happening in the Dover store.  The cashier keeps writing my name in a book and my phone number.  But I never get a call that the items I want have come in......I am not a big fan of ordering on line because many times what I order and pay shipping on is not what was presented then I am forced to pay return shipping and wait months for my credit card to be credited.....

I'm happy that this issue is being addressed. After being frustrated several times, I have taken to calling my closest CW store and asking if they have a particular item in stock in that store.

How odd is it that more than half the time they don't have it?

Also, perhaps CW could take a hint from Amazon. Orders over $35.00 (I believe) get free shipping.

I can completely understand if the sale item is now discontinued and therefore limited in availability, but that is not stated in the ad.

This month it's spend $50 get free shipping. Pretty good deal if you ask me. Everything I have ordered had been sent and usually arrives in a couple days.
