I had Verizon phones and service for 11 years. Always paid by draft, never late. About 7 years ago my phone died and I went to Verizon and picked out a new one. The salesperson said we can't bill you for the phone like before, you have to pay for it in advance. I told them where they could put the phone, went to Walmart and Straight Talk and never looked back. Never a problem with Walmart phones. ST customer service was really lacking at first but much better now. 3G but only 45.00 per month.
