I have the ZTE android. Bought from Walmart, operates on Verizon towers, unlimited minutes, text and data. $45.00 a month.
The so-called unlimited data provided by ST is limited to 3GB at "high speed" which I guess is 3G. After that you are throttled way down.
This may be fine for some people but it is about 10 years behind the times. There is no comparison between 3G and 4G service and 3 GB is enough to last us for a day. To each his own, but smart phones are designed to be used and there's a lot you can do with them; will this sort of plan you'll never find out what they can do.

Straight Talk introduced 4G this past year and now offers 4G LTE data at no additional costs - it all depends on if your phone is LTE compatible. My wife is on the $45 ST plan and is on the Verizon network. She has had data everywhere we go and has never been throttled down.
