Not sure what you mean by a "through test" but can tell you that PdaNet / FireFox works without issue with the S7 just as it did with the S5 and S6. In regard to testing, I have been a beta tester of the app and know the in's and outs lets call it. Anyway S7 is aok with PdaNet / FireFox. - WraceExplorerThanks sherlock, that is encouraging.

I have only tested with the Verizon network as I mentioned in the original post. - MrWizardModeratorthank you
- BelgiqueExplorerNot being a wise guy...serious question: why do I need PDA Net since the (Verizon) S#'s have a hot spot capability. Is there some advantage I'm missing? Thanks.
- MrWizardModeratorVerizon used to charge an arm and leg
For the privilege of wifi hotspot
Instead of the current ,? Low $10 add-on fee
Also Verizon does not allow hot spot or tether if you have a grandfathered unlimited plan
They allow new plan customers to hotspot because they want them/you to use up your 3 gig plan allotment and pay for overage - BelgiqueExplorerThanks Mr. Wizard. Understand.
- djgoddenExplorerVerizon no longer charges for using your phone's hotspot capability. We use it all the time, no charges, good connections. I used PDAnet before, was generally reliable.
