satellite aiming question

I promise you this is the best way to set up your SD dish. Leave everything loose so you can move your dish up and down, left and right. I have my wife in front of the TV with a walkie-talkie. I start either pointing east or west. Then I slowly move the dish up and down, move sidways in small increaments, then up and down again. Keep moving the dish sideways in small increaments until you get a signal. When you get a signal tighten eveything down. This is much easier than looking up the settings and setting up the dish beforehand. I used to fight it a long time and would even give up until I started doing it this way.
