I have an older model Motosat, now out of business, which works fine but I know I can't get software updates for the controller or factory assistance should I have any problems. I have looked at the Winegard Traveler and have seen some black HD dishes recently but don't know the brand. I would appreciate any suggestions so I can be ready when and if needed.

I have obtained spare parts for my Motosat and replaced the F1 roof base dish with a later model with a newer UCB. Now have a spare D3 and Hughes HN7000S modem. So hope I am good to go for a few more years as we like to boondock away from cell service. I am member #98 on www.datastormusers.com which helps with any issues I have. Also there are several who have Datastorm parts for resale. Checkout http://www.oregonrv.net/ and go to the link dmarr.com on his site for parts and software. Don has all you will need to stay online. He also works to update the Sat. Tables.
