Satellite Finder

Thought the tailgater found the satellite by itself. I set up my portable dish just using Dish #s. If I am at really low elevations I raise it a couple of degrees as a starting point. The compass on my smart phone seems to work better than regular compass. On some occasions I have to peak the signal using a signal strength meter.

I have tried a few free satellite aps. Never had much luck with them. Probably because I have set it up so many years not using the fancy aps.
