In the old days all you needed to do was setup a portable SAT TV dish with a dual output head and run separate RG cable to each SAT RCVR location. This would pickup SAT TV from your present SAT TV HOME ACCOUNT anywhere in the USA. You would lose your LOCAL TV option however whenever you moved outside of your ZIP CODE area.
You would then connect each SAT RCVR to a separate TV setup. This will pick up standard TV signals at each location each controlled separately with the SAT TV remote.
What I did was feed the TV video input channel at each location in the RV with the SAT TV signal... Then I could use the TV remote to select CABLE TV, OTA TV, or SAT TV...
I did this for a few years picking up SAT TV in my RV but when the NATL BROADCAST SYSTEM came out with Digital HDTV I stopped bringing along all of my SAT TV items with on our RV camping trips. Full blown HDTV picked up from the OTA BATWING antenna was much much better than the standard SAT TV signals was giving us...
I have no idea how the HD SAT TV reception to multiple TV's is accomplished in today's HDTV setups in the RV... Sounds very expensive to me to do it...
