Where I live it's either satellite or personal hotspot. There isn't a cable running in front of my property and blanket community WIFI will never happen out here.
Why do I want to count GB like counting calories? My DISH is streaming video to me 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Many times the TV is on for nothing more than background noise. A personal hotspot would cost me a small fortune for that. My DISH satellite internet has something like 20G/month before it slows down. How many days does that get me streaming video before I burn it up? DW can eat up a good portion of the 20G just on FB.
There are programs we watch that are uniquely Texas such as Day Tripper, Texas Bucket List and Texas Country Reporter. Are they available to stream? Can I record the OTA programs to view later?
You haven't convinced me I would be pleased with the change just to save a few bucks, if I even do that.
On Edit: I noticed right now we have 3 TV's on 3 different channels going at once. Do I tell my MIL she can't watch HGTV while I watch the morning news or I tell my DW she has to turn off QVC?
