sattelite signals
Is it the clouds or rain or both which cause the loss in sattelite signal? I just switch from cable to directv and can't believe how often it seem to lose the signal.Is that just the way it is or can ...

location is everything haha... When we was running SAT TV we always seem to go the same places so tried to get the same good camping spot everytime... seemed to help. Then sometimes it would just drop out for no obvious reason... I always blamed it on my old SAT RCVR..
I never played with The newer auto ones. See alot of them on trailers so must work pretty good.
When the NATL BROADCAST went digital we just sort of stopped bring the SAT STUFF along with us. The Natl Broadcast 6-36 digital channels was full blown high def TV anyway where our SAT TV was just regular TV. We eventually just let the DIRECTV SAT subscription expire on us...
