CW was able to look up our transactions on their computer and they cheerfully exchanged the hose each time with absolutely no difficulty. I am confident that you too will have no difficulty with your transaction. In ALL my experience with CW, they have delivered outstanding customer service. That is why I drive 65 mikes each way to shop there.
Stuff happens. Manufacturers have glitches. Product is bought in large batches by companies, so when there is a Mfg.issue, there does tend to be a number of them, and quite often delivered to the same merchant. A small bump on the road of life. Have a good day!
I am also sure that CW will do what is right. But given my circumstances of being in Mexico until spring, months after the purchase, I wanted a written understanding with CW about this issue so there was no hassle in the return.
As for good customer service from CW. I have experienced both very good and frankly horrible. It depends upon which store and where you are. I am seldom in the same store twice in the same year or even the same state.
As for the manufacturing issues, these I am well aware of having been in Manufacturing of some sort most of my life. But I also know what QC is and how it's done.
Further there is no party in this that has more influence over the manufacturer than does CW. The issue with the manufacturer is not my fight, that belongs to CW/GSE.
