Secure way to purchase on line? not
All I can say is wow, just wow, all what IS in these privacy policy's. I went to sign up for Visa Checkout. My bank claims this is done under layers and layers of protection when purchasing on line...

I do not have credit cards. I wanted to hit the road full time debt free and did! So I use my debt card for purchases. OK for on the road, but IMHO not such a good idea for online purchases.So far the only drawback I've encountered going credit card free.
I've seen that one-time use card mentioned before but it is only offered by a few banks. When I looked it up it was BOA. I don't bank at BOA and my bank doesn't offer it. Wish they did.
They did just send me a replacement debit card one of those new chip cards that use a one time transaction code so my point of purchase transactions will be more secure. That said retailers have until 2017 to install new readers so that seems like a moot point for me for now! :C
