Security Alarms on Doors

We have a new Jayco Seismic Wave 310 toy hauler where our 9 & 5 year old daughters will sleep in the garage, which has an entrance door. My wife is interested in finding a way to put alarms on the the doors to notify us if either of them are opened.

I'm not looking for a sophisticated system that's a true ADT style alarm system where a call center is notified or anything like that. We just need an alarm to sound if a door is opened.

Just curious if anyone has done this and what their advice/feedback would be.

    I have motion detector patio light that gets activated with movement on the front or back side of my OFF-ROAD trailer... Battery operated so works everywhere

    You can probably find something at LOWES to work for what you want to do...

    I have not, but Radio Shack (if still around) had a simple, two piece, battery operated door alarm with a very loud and high pitched alarm when activated!
