Security question; Alias cell phone and second email

Hi. As a newbie full timer interested in social media, clubs, forums, etc., does it make sense to have alternate email and cell accounts? I think Yahoo offers second email for free, but I'd think Veri...

I use the Google Voice phone number all of the time. When retailers ask for my phone number I give them that one. You know they probably share those numbers with other companies or maybe even sell them. Why else would they want your phone number?
