You can get the iPhone 4 now from bulk Ebay refurbishes for $89. Since these are 3G phones, they can be activated on PagePlusCellular which uses Verizon exclusively for as little as $3. per month for PAYGO. Under this plan, you'd pay for data use @0.10 per M.
Bottom-line, you'll won't get that much for it now. Especially, since it doesn't support the latest iOS 8 release. But will do best if you sell it yourself on Ebay or Craigslist, instead of using a recycling service. Even Redbox affiliate ecoATM has a service now. Their buy prices are listed as $9-52.
