Your a little late I just got 100.bucks plus bonus a little over a month ago. I didnt say youd get a great deal but you wont get scammed like is common elseware. I just ran it and a 8gig( Really?) flawless is 40 bucks they know maybe mine is better than yours LOL

iphone 4 is 4 years old and wont run current ios software 4 years is ages in tech its about paperweight status :-) 4 is avail all over the internet for low prices ..I'd be very careful if you get a big offer! (scam)

Settings has a reset function that wipes it to factory settings and you take the SIM out.

I've never sold an iPhone, so out of curiosity: how do you get rid of all the personal data on the phone prior to selling it?
