Selling on Ebay question?

Does anyone know if you can list a vehicle on Ebay but sell it with the terms cash only? I just want to sell it locally but want to use the coverage Ebay has. Don't want to mess with paypal etc.

If so how do list it? I can't seem to get past the paypal and bidding instructions requests. Thanks

    I've tried, but since Ebay bought Paypal I can't find a way to specify "Cash Only" either. They really want people to use Paypal. Seems like I read at one time they won't allow the "Cash Only" option anymore.

    E-bay tries to be as much about protecting the buyer as the seller- electronic payment systems like Paypal help with both.

    Try selling it on Craigslist. I've sold a car and a motorcycle on there with no problems. Both local sales and sold within a few days.

    It's hard to deal with ebay and not use paypal. It seems that 90%+ of people selling on ebay require the use of paypal.

    Well, you can specify in shipping that it is local pickup only, and you can specify cash only, but a deposit can be paid with paypal within 48 hours of winning...Covers your butt from screwy bidders.
