Shaw Satellite - quad output

We just received our Shaw dish, tripod, etc. It came with a "triple satellite quad output switchable xKu LNBF". The instructions say to run one coax cable from the dish to the receiver. If our receiver is in the trailer, do we just run the coax to the satellite input on the panel outside? If we have 2 receivers, do we run 2 cables?

Can you tell I am clueless about this stuff?
  • IfYou have a PVR Type Receiver You need Two lines to the LNB!
If You have a Non PVR Receiver You require only a Single Line!
There are Four Outputs on that LNB!
So if You have 4 Receivers which Do Not Have PVR 's You can connect all 4!
  • If you only receive you need one cable for each receiver.
If you receive and record you will need two cable for each receiver.

That's how it is on my old receiver, don't know how the newer ones handle it.
