Adobe owns shockwave and flash
Not Google
I recently got an update notice, to update the flash player plugin for Fire Fox
In Google Chrome, Flash is integrated directly into the browser itself. Versions of Flash that you download from Adobe have no impact or relation to the version that Chrome uses. This KB from Adobe has more information.
Ok, read the KB. It appears I have a conflict between the two adobe flashes. One integrated in chrome and the other on the hard drive. Not sure what to do to resolve the conflict. IF I delete the installed version... would my IE9 browser not work right? It doesn't work all that well now... jerky, freezy...not respond etc. And not supported by many websites I use.
IF I get rid of Chromes flash will everything calm down and stop crashing?
The Google forum I looked at suggested that any and all fixes Google offered... including eliminating one or the other flash... either did not work, or only temporarily.
It also appeared that age of system didn't matter. People with new lap tops or pc's were having the same difficulty and were ranting about leaving Chrome and going back to MSFT!!!
I am not tech savvy.. so wouldn't really know..or trust myself... to hit the right button to keep or delete.
Do I need a Geek?
