I spent several quality hours with the Geek S. In addition to the shockwave problem, my Kasperksy is a memory hog. They recommended I get more memory and that would help with a lot of the freezing up. Sigh.
I also started using FoxFire at their suggestion because it still supports older plug ins. It's a temporary fix at best, but not looking forward to total immersion into the new Windows browser or Win 10. I'm still using Vista Home Premium!
The Geek cleaned everything up...but said memory was my primary issue. And to think about replacing Kaspersky with Webroot because it was not a space hog.
