Do what I am going to do. Put the antenna in the fiberglass/plastic roof vent above the class c overhead bed, and take the time to run the cable. You can hid it or use a curved wire stapler, or as I plan to do for my backup camera, use plastic wire mold on the ceiling. It looks nice, easy to install and comes in white and tan and has corners and connectors. The vent will work to pass any microwave frequency, same thing is used on a radar dome or Sat TV, unless it is made of metal.
I am mounting two backup cameras in my rear window. One looking down, and one looking back. I am to old to crawl under the MH so I am staying inside. I have run hundreds of feet of wire mold, and it is a professional look and will work well on the ceiling of the MH, and would not hurt the resale value. Can be found at Home Depot or any electrical wholesale store.
