Snagit

I make good use of Snagit for screen captures, video, etc and some editing. I'm currently using version 11 and thinking about a upgrade to version 13. So I'm looking for some input before I down load and start using the 15 day trial version especially considering enhanced and/or new functions. Suggestions?

If you're unfamiliar with Snagit it is far beyond any screen capture program that I'm aware of. But I'm willing to try a good free or mostly free screen capture program with my bench mark being Snagit.

    My version is about a year old, but I don't know which one it is. I was disappointed that I could use it to post screen shots into RV.Net postings, but then again, it might just be me not using it right. Have you been able to use it with RV.Net?

    When they send me notices about upgrading, it's for features that are way beyond my capability such as special editing of movies and so on.
