Technically, yes the flash chips in an SSD have a finite number of read/write/erase cycles, but it's in the millions. Not only is the number of write cycles very large, it's large enough that the average computer user would never encounter it. You'd need to write large amounts of data 24 hours a day for several years to hit it.
For the average user, they would most likely replace the drive before hitting the max write ceiling. Most estimates I have seen say an average user should be able to use an ssd for about 8 years or so.
