The best service and support available is from Apple followed by Lenovo (formerly IBM). The worst support I have received has been from Dell and Sony. HP is great for their "business class" computers but not so good with their consumer level computers. Asus has one of the worst reputations for quality and support - check any of the reviews of their products on Amazon and see the posts on computer forums by owners.
The SSD on your computer may have failed or more likely it is a chip on the motherboard that has failed and is needed for connecting to the SSD. Either way the laptop is not worth fixing.
A great netbook from Lenovo is the X240 which has a SSD drive and the best keyboard you will find on any netbook or laptop. If you do have reason to talk to someone at Lenovo tech support you will be talking to someone in Atlanta who is a native English speaker and not someone in India.
