Let me guess. After they are in place, Musk will give everyone a SIM card and the internet will be free for everyone. Then he will go Samuel L Jackson in the Kingsman on us and eliminate 99.9% of the earth's population leaving an earthly paradise for the chosen ones. I'd love a happy ending but "This ain't that kind of movie".

Good idea but only if Free Bird is playing real loud over the entire planet.

Well, they do say the South will rise again. And if it does, I sure hope I go with Statesman's new Agent Whiskey at my side. (I wonder what percentage of the RV.net population knows what the heck we are posting about)

There seems to be no information about how much the service will cost the consumer.

I expect the service will come at a fairly high premium similar to a satellite phone.
Suspect this is a method to connect Tesla vehicles and equipment without local providers. Consumer use will be secondary.

Space could be getting very crowded soon.

SpaceX stated this week that they hope to have coverage for emergency use in the southern states before hurricane season begins in 2020.
