Specific Directv equipment suggestion needed

I want to go to SWM on my Directv so I can use a single wire to my DVR, but have legacy receivers I want to keep. I know I want to get an SWM8 to run the SWM line but still have 2 legacy ports for the legacy receivers. The trouble is I have the round 18" antenna that is not compatible with SWM.

The question, what antenna do I need to buy that is compatible with SWM, but doesn't have an SWM LNB?

    Boy I'm confused.

I guess by 'antenna' you mean the dish. You need a slimline dish for HD .. is that what you're after? Doesn't sound like it with legacy receivers.

I don't understand this part at all.

You can google "swm diagram" and see how it works.

I am not interested in HD at all. I am only interested in SWM so I can get single wire DVR access. And yes, the "dish" is a satellite antenna.

If the LNB has SWM built in, it is not compatible with the legacy receivers. If the LNB does NOT have SWM built in, you can hook its output to a SWM8 switch and convert it to SWM (for the house) and still have 2 legacy ports (for the RV, see below).

    is the DVR swm compatible?

it has to support SWM to go to 1 wire

That is exactly what I needed. Thank you.

The DVR is an R22-100 and is SWM compatible.

My legacy receivers are both D11-100 receivers. I may upgrade the one in the house to a D12 to make it SWM compatible, but the other is in my RV running on a Vuqube VQ2100 antenna. While I could upgrade that one to D12 also, it can not be configured for SWM and still work with the Vuqube. I would rather not have to keep reconfiguring it before and after every trip, so it doesn't make sense to spend money to upgrade it. Hence, my desire to keep compatibility with legacy systems.
